A single voice can make an impact – many voices can make change. This is an opportunity to share your story alongside other women in our community.
This book project has sprung from the belief that we all have a story to tell; there is someone who needs to hear it, and by working together, we can reach more people so that our stories can make a difference in someone’s life, career or business.
Wisdom and Insight become more valuable when shared. I hope this book when published, will be your go-to read for inspiration, powerful anecdotes and actionable advice. ~ Cathy
Why would I want to be an Author?
This is your opportunity to let people know who you are and share that moment, event or person that made a difference for you personally, professionally … or both! What better way than to share your journey in a bestselling book?!
In addition to having a book to sell or use as promotional material, there’s a significant benefit in being a published author – a book provides you with credibility and establishes you as an expert in your field. Some of our contributing authors will use their chapter in this book as a stepping stone to publishing their own individual book.
What would I write about?
Ever read a story or listened to someone talk about their life and you thought “Wow! Someone else has gone through what I’m going through!’ Your story may feel ordinary to you, but it might be extraordinary to someone else. Sharing your story can give someone amazing insight into taking action and experiencing something that they may never have thought possible.

BONUS 1: Your Name on the cover
Many anthology books only showcase the publisher. As a contributing author, your name will be listed on the front cover with the other contributing authors. (in alpha order) so that if you have an author’s page online, you can list this book in your library.
BONUS 2: Personal Interviews
For those that want to, I will be conducting online interviews with our published authors once the final drafts are in. All episodes will be recorded, professionally edited and posted under When Women Talk©, our dedicated YouTube channel and/or The Connected Woman© banner for public access. This is an incredible opportunity to expand your influence and create a broader reach for your message.

You can do this! You don’t have to have a ‘save the world’ story – we’re looking for women from all walks of life so that our readers can relate and engage with us. The intention is to be genuine, to be you.
Didn’t get honours in spelling or grammar? You’re covered! Each author’s story will be proofed by our professional editor.
When will the book be published?
Our timeline for this book to launch is late Fall 2026. To create a quality offering, it takes time for you to write your story and for me to take care of the editing, proofing, designing and publishing.
How will the book be distributed?
This is where collaboration becomes our ‘secret sauce’ because we work together to potentially achieve a best selling book status. You will be given templates for pre-launch, a social media campaign, online launch day strategy, press releases and more. All you have to do is copy, paste and post!
Is there a Launch Party?
Absolutely! As a Contributing Author, you will be the guest of honour at our book launch (*exact date TBD) where you’ll be autographing books and having photos taken with the other authors!

I’ve filled out the application, what happens next?
We are currently accepting applications and while all applications will be considered, only those who are chosen will be notified. Once you have been notified of your acceptance, an agreement will be sent to you to sign and return with payment in full to secure your spot.
Once all the authors have been chosen, an authors’ zoom meeting will be scheduled and you will be provided with a writers’ orientation document to discuss details such as timelines; including submission of first draft for editing and sign-off review of the final manuscript.
What is my investment to become an author with the “When Women Talk©” book?
The investment is a small cost compared with paying for your own editor, book designer, typesetter and publisher. If you were to professionally write and publish a book as an individual, with absolutely everything included as mentioned above, your costs could total well over $10,000 USD. This is where the magic of a multiple author book comes in.
Your total investment is just *$1497 CANADIAN FUNDS +GST upon acceptance of your application.
