ELLE MOTT
Elle Mott is a creative nonfiction author who has been published in literary journals, news magazines, and anthologies. She recently released her third book, a historical biography about her nana’s civic leadership, titled Marie Conner, A Leading Lady (Luminare Press, 2026). She is also the author of Out of Chaos: A Memoir (Boyle & Dalton, 2018) and People Helping People (self-published, 2020). Elle weaves advocacy and strength into all she writes, with the hope that readers find empowerment and purpose.
While writing is her passion, her livelihood is with the public library in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. In her free time she volunteers, and she was honoured to be awarded Community Service Leader of the Year for 2017 by an activist organization local to her. Elle makes her home in northern Kentucky with two cats and several pet birds.
