MARGOT WARE
Margot C. Ware RN BScN GNC(C) is a respected gerontological nurse and the CEO of Shylo Home Healthcare, a long-established provider of Home Care services in the Vancouver, B.C. lower mainland.
Margot was blessed to be raised in a multi-generational family which had an obvious influence on her vocational choices later in life. Her mother and grandmother were both registered nurses, and her grandfather a renown Canadian physician. Margot had the extraordinary honour of caring for her parents and grandparents them as they aged and passed peacefully in their own beds.
Sadly, despite growing up in a loving family of nine, Margot was suddenly orphaned at the all-too-young age of 21 and had to learn to stand on her own two feet overnight. In this chapter she shares a moment of truth that was so consequential it defined how she would make plans and accomplish her goals throughout her life.
