MARILYN R. WILSON
Marilyn R. Wilson is a freelance writer, published author, speaker, and poet with a passion for sharing the stories of others. Her career began in an unusual way—she answered a Craigslist ad for which she had no qualifications. She made the cut and discovered a deep passion for hearing others share their unique stories. Over the next nineteen years she conducted over 200 interviews, co-owned a magazine, and was published in others. In 2010, she launched Olio by Marilyn, a magazine style blog that has found a wide audience. Then in 2015, she launched her first book, Life Outside the Box, followed in 2018 by The Wisdom of Listening.
Whether through a random encounter or a scheduled interview, her goal is the same—to give wings to the stories of inspiring individuals, and to pass on the wisdom shared with her and discovered during her own life journey.
