MARILYN R. WILSON

Marilyn is a freelance writer, published author, speaker, and poet with a passion for sharing the stories of others. Her career began in an unusual way – by answering a Craigslist ad for which she had no qualifications. Somehow she made the cut and quickly discovered a deep passion for hearing others share their unique stories. Over the next 17 years she conducted over 200 interviews, was co-owner of a magazine, and was published in others. In 2015 she launched her first book, Life Outside the Box, followed in 2018 by The Wisdom of Listening.

Whether through a random encounter or a scheduled interview, her goal is the same – to give wings to the stories of inspiring individuals, and to pass on the wisdom shared with her during interviews and discovered during her own life journey.
