SAMANTHA DAY

Samantha grew up in BC’s Okanagan (Oyama is the best!) and resides there with her husband and two children, exploring the many exciting and scenic locations in the valley. Her parents had film cameras that recorded all their family adventures—camping road trips, canoe trips, Scout camps—and everyday life. She is now the keeper of the family photo albums, and her favourite photos are the ones that capture her family’s personalities and interactions.

As a professional photographer, whether she is making images for a business, documenting a family story, or capturing one of life’s many adventures, Samantha’s first thought is always How can I make this experience as natural and stress-free as possible? 

Some random facts: Samantha is happiest when she is outdoors on an adventure with people she cares about. She loves a good road trip where random stops can and do happen, and she likes to save the last pickle in the jar.
