TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

At When Women Talk®, we believe in setting a positive example by holding ourselves accountable to the highest ethical standards.

We welcome women with diverse backgrounds and experiences which will undoubtedly infuse a great level of wisdom and intelligence to the organization. As a site visitor; podcast guest and/or author, each person is encouraged to express their opinions and knowledge which will be unique unto themselves. We ask that you appreciate and learn from one another’s differences, opinions and beliefs.

Code of Conduct

Mutual respect and professionalism will be maintained at all times.
You will not engage in oral, written or virtual spamming nor sell, lend or give contact information to any person or organization without express permission.
You will represent yourself and/or your business in a truthful and accurate manner.
All information shared and conversations held within a When Women Talk® event shall be made public.
If, at any time we believe that the points outlined above have been compromised or violated, we reserve the right to take appropriate action.

Please read this entire notice before using this website, making a purchase on this site, downloading any materials, or relying on the content published within it or within any of our products or services. Use of this site, purchasing or downloading any material, paid or complimentary from Cathy Kuzel; The Connected Woman and/or When Women Talk, we will assume that you have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions.

OWNERSHIP OF SITE, AGREEMENT TO TERMS OF USE

These Terms and Conditions of Use (the “Terms of Use”) apply to the WHEN WOMEN TALK web site located at www.whenwomentalk.ca , and all associated sites linked to www.whenwomentalk.ca by Cathy Kuzel, The Connected Woman, its subsidiaries and affiliates. (collectively, the “Site”). The Site is the property of Cathy Kuzel. (“CK”). BY USING THE SITE, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF USE; IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE SITE.

MODIFICATION OF THIS AGREEMENT

CK reserveS the right at all times to discontinue or modify any part of this Agreement and reserve the right to change or discontinue any aspect or feature of our services or the Site including, but not limited to, requirements for access or use as we deem necessary or desirable. It is your responsibility to check these Terms of Use periodically for changes. These changes will be effective immediately for new users of our Site and for all products and/or services purchased after the effective date of the change. Your continued use of the Site after we update these Terms of Use will constitute agreement and acceptance of the modified Terms of Use. As long as you comply with these Terms of Use, CK grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited privilege to enter and use the Site.

CONTENT

All text, graphics, user interfaces, visual interfaces, photographs, trademarks, logos, sounds, music, video, artwork and computer code (collectively, “Content”), including but not limited to the design, structure, selection, coordination, expression, “look and feel” and arrangement of such Content, contained on the Site is owned, controlled or licensed by or to CK, and is protected by trade dress, copyright, patent and trademark laws, and various other intellectual property rights and unfair competition laws.

Except as expressly provided in these Terms of Use, no part of the Site and no Content may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted or distributed in any way (including “mirroring”) to any other computer, server, Web site or other medium for publication or distribution or for any commercial enterprise, without CK’s express prior written consent.

You may use information on CK’s products and services purposely made available by CK for downloading from the Site, provided that you (1) not remove any proprietary notice language contained in all copies of such documents, (2) use such information only for your personal, non-commercial informational purpose and do not copy or post such information on any networked computer or broadcast it in any media, (3) make no modifications to any such information, and (4) not make any additional representations or warranties relating to such documents.

You understand that the Content posted on, transmitted through, or linked from the Service, express only the views of the author and/or podcast guest and does not necessarily reflect the views of CK. Neither CK, nor any person or entity associated with CK, will be held responsible for the contents, accuracy, completeness or validity of any information posted as Content. Posting any material that is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person’s privacy, or otherwise violates any law is prohibited, including, without limitation, posting any Content subject to another’s copyright, trademark, patent or other intellectual property. CK may review for accuracy and reserves the right to remove content that is incorrect or entered improperly.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Except where prohibited by law, under no circumstances will CK be held responsible or liable to you for any direct or indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental or punitive damages, including lost profits or any loss or damage that is caused or alleged to have been caused in connection with use of any advice, goods or services received from us; a guest speaker or author on our website; or at any of our events.

While this Site’s offerings may contain client and/or personal experience, such as information regarding financial results; income and wealth generation; business procedures, or advice related to health and wellness; it is in no way to be construed as legal, financial, or other binding advice. The information provided by this Site is for informational and anecdotal purposes only. All such inquiries should be addressed to appropriately qualified and licensed professionals.

It is your sole choice regarding the use and interaction of any Linked Sites.

REFUNDS AND RETURN POLICIES

Products: Merchandise purchased and shipped directly from CK may be returned for a full refund provided it is in its original packaging and is returned within 30 days of receiving it. Custom Logo orders are non-refundable.

Shipping: Shipping costs will only be refunded if the return is a result of our error.

Author Agreements: cancellation of a contract resulting in a full or partial refund must be submitted in writing. Please refer to your individual author contract for exact details.

PAYMENT TERMS

Product: All payments are to be made electronically by electronic funds transfer (EFT), or through approved third party processors. VISA or Mastercard. Credit card payments: will incur a 3.5% convenience processing fee unless otherwise stated.

All orders are payable upon receipt. No credit will be extended.

Shipping: As per the terms on the order form or as agreed upon based on bulk orders. The least costly method (ground) will be used to ship orders unless otherwise arranged by the client.

FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION REQUIRED AFFILIATE NOTICE

At times we will promote services and products from other individuals, companies and/or organizations. We may or may not be compensated as affiliates of these trusted partners. We only recommend services or products of trusted partners and recommendations are based on positive experience. It is your responsibility to do due diligence for any product or service you are buying.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

The information, services, products, claims, seminar topics, and materials on this site are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied. CK disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to implied effectiveness of the ideas or success strategies listed on this site as well as those that are provided in our products, services and/or to participants at events.

Neither CK nor any of their respective licensees or suppliers warrant or make any representations regarding the use or the results of the use of the services, products, information or materials in this site in terms of their correctness, accuracy, reliability, or otherwise. Applicable law may not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.

INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify and hold CK, its officers, directors, shareholders, predecessors, successors in interest, employees, agents, subsidiaries and affiliates, harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including attorneys’ fees), made against CK by any third party due to or arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site.
